Please refer to the list of auction donors contained in this newsletter. They are good to us every year and it would be great if the members support them during the remainder of the year. Also, please find enclosed with this newsletter, a copy of the current by-laws and a sign up sheet for any events that you can work this year. It should be a busy year for our club as we will be completing a line fence on the West side of our property and erecting a new storage building for the new and refurbished 3-D archery targets that the club is purchasing. These items are not on the events schedule to sign up for, so I will be contacting members to see if we can get crews together to get the job done. I hope everyone had a nice holiday season and is prepared for the winter that does not really want to come. This years Wild Game Dinner & Auction was very well attended and was the second biggest we have had, as far as revenues go. The food was absolutely the best and we had to set up card tables to seat everyone. Thanks to all of you that worked so hard to make it a great success. This year the presidents award for service over and above the call of duty went to Bill McKenna and Gary Gawne. Great job guys! I would like to remind the membership that when using the ranges, please pick up your empties and take down your targets and take them home with you as we do not have trash pickup. The bucket that is hanging at the range is for unwanted brass. When fishing the lake, especially with the weather we are having, use caution and make sure the ice is sturdy enough to fish on. This usually means at least 3 or 4 inches of good blue ice. In closing, please send in your filled out help needed sheets as soon as possible, so that we can plan the help for our events.
